Polly and her fellow guiding friends from Ginninderra District held a Christmas lunch for some of the local senior citizens

 

 

The Seniors Christmas Party is an annual service project that Ginninderra District runs. A lunch and entertainment (play and carols) is held for about 35-40 senior citizens in our community. The District has been doing this for 14years and it is a great opportunity for Polly and her guide friends to give back to the community and the guests love meeting and talking with the guides!

This lovely cookbook called 'Our Favourites', has been produced by the girls and families of Ginninderra District. It is filled with recipes from each of the girls in the District. There are recipes for camping and recipes using girl guides biscuits. If you would like to buy a copy you can find the order form here.

2012 Mother's Day Classic

Polly and guiding friends from Ginninderra Girl Guides took part in the 2012 Mother's Day Classic 5km walk to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer.
